It's May and the Flowers are Blooming

Our flowers turned out so beautiful again this year.  I am always so excited when I see my tulips coming up.  Megan thinks they are pretty too.

Easter 2010

Get ready for lots of pictures.  First, we had her pictures taken by a photographer that had a little bunny (which Megan loved) and little chicks.  Then we let her dye Easter eggs, which was so much fun.  I was surprised at how well she did and how much she enjoyed it.  Grandma and Granpa Roessing came over to help us dye eggs and give her some Easter presents.

These are the pictures from the photographer.  I will get the rest of the Easter pictures posted later this week.  Megan is waking up from her nap.

March 2010 pictures

Hello everyone,
Ah, Megan is napping and I am trying to get caught up on posting pictures. We are so excited that it is spring time. Megan loves going outside and especially loves going to the park to swing. Sometimes I think she must have been dreaming about swinging because it is often the first thing she is telling me she wants when I get her up out of the crib. This girl needs about 6 things to keep her happy: swing, balls, bubbles, books, crackers, and Mom (or Grandma). Here are just a few pictures from March.

Megan's first ride on her bike that she got for Christmas. She loved it!

Two days later, several inches on snow fell. I bundled her up and took her outside to play. She was less than impressed and wanted the sunny weather to come back.

Cereal from a bowl with milk is one of her favorite breakfasts.

Needless to say, it didn't take her long to learn how to drink the milk out of the bowl after the cereal was all gone. I guess she watched me and Robert a few too many times.

Megan Walking

I know this is a couple months old, but here is a video of Megan taking some of her first steps. We had her walking between Mom and Dad to help motivate her to take those steps. We also had to use the ball as motivation as that is one of her favorite toys. What can I say, the girl loved to crawl so it took some motivation to get her to walk. Now, crawling is a thing of the past, she walks so good, and sometimes even tries to run! I love that she is walking now and I don't have to pack her everywhere and her hands aren't on the floor getting dirty all the time. Enjoy!

Megan so Sleepy

Here is a video of Megan in her high chair. She was eating lunch and then became so sleepy. It is way too cute! Once again, press the play button on the bottom left of the black screen.

15 month old pictures

These are the first set of pictures where I look at my little Megan and think she is no longer a baby, but looks like a little girl now...and a cute one at that!

Random pictures

Megan took all of her toys out of her toybox and then decided she wanted in.

Megan thinks it's funny to wear her bathtoys on her head.

The Denver Stock Show

A couple weeks ago we were able to take Megan to the Denver Stock Show to see all the animals. She had a great time and we enjoyed watching her discover new things. Here are some pictures of the day.

Petting a little pig

She loved the bunnies. She would have like to pet them.

She also loved the geese - especially when they honked at her

She looks like such a little girl....not a baby anymore.

Her first pony ride. She didn't know what to think of it.

New Year's Eve

For New Year's Eve this year, we decided to go crazy and party. The party started at 4pm at my friends house in the playroom. Everybody played, then ate some food, then played some more. We stayed and partied until the wee hour of 8pm. Then it was time for everyone to head home and put the kids to bed. We did manage to get some group photos...which is saying a lot for having 6 babies in the picture!

The Daddy's

The Mommy's (mostly)
After Megan went to bed, Robert and I actually did stay up until midnight this year. We watched a movie, had some champagne, and watched the ball drop...both on TV and on the Wii game Animal Crossings. It was nice to ring in 2010 kissing Robert.

Christmas pictures...finaly

I know this is getting posted really late. Sorry for that. The good thing is that we have talked with most of you since Christmas, so I won't need to write much. Here it is: We had a wonderful Christmas staying home. Megan made out with lots of presents and figured out that pretty, new, neat things were under the wrapping paper. She would have preferred that no one used any tape on her packages though as it would have made unwrapping a lot easier.

The best picture of Megan with Santa that we could get. She was scared of Santa

Opening presents Christmas morning.

I had to post these two pictures just to compare last year and this year. What a change. She barely fit into her stocking this year, but she thought it was pretty funny that we tried.
